My name is Jason Ryan and for the last few years I have been working with Tom Joyce,Ron Salsbury and MIke Burkhouse of OCC to supply the range of OCC Motorcycles production range of bikes to the Australian market. This idea started in early 2006 and led to many trips to the Montgomery NY factory to establish what we would need to change to comply with Australian Design Rules and ultimately end up with the Holy Grail- A compliance plate.

Through the last few years we have also been working with DOTARS in Canberra to achieve the Compliance Plate Approval on the bikes and after a lot of mistakes and learning this was done and now we are ready to supply to the market.

My personal experience in this industry is a long story but I have been involved with vehicle compliancing and importation on different levels for over ten years now and during this time I have learnt allot about vehicle requirements in Australia and also the safety aspects that are a big part of any vehicle compliance in Australia. I was raised around motorcycles having my first Chopper at the age of six in the form of a Malvern Star that was raked and lengthened to replicate some sort of a Chopper. Crude but unique none the less. After this the Moto-Cross stage started and seen a series of bikes both on and off road over twenty years or so.

I am very excited and proud to be involved with the OCC product and look forward to taking these awesome machines to the Australian public. I would also like to thank Mike Ron and Tom for all their help with this process and also the Teutul's for giving me the chance to achieve this.
